ENRICHING MINDS! DEVELOPING CHARACTER!
Imagine Harrisburg Pike Community School is a growing K-6 Charter school located at 680 Harrisburg Pike in Columbus, Ohio. We provide educational opportunities for more than 400 students in the area. Our school is in its seventh year of educating students to become successful leaders in our communities.
The highly qualified teachers at Harrisburg Pike have high expectations for their students, guiding them to engage in critical thinking and application of skills. We provide a balanced literacy approach to reading and writing, instructing with authentic literature and meaningful writing. Reading and writing skills are integrated in all content areas.
We believe in concrete, hands-on learning using real-world applications in mathematics. Daily use of math manipulatives help students to gain a true understanding of the meaning of the world of mathematics. Students are taught to not just “DO” math, rather, they “THINK” mathematically.
Content areas are often taught in project-based learning opportunities. Cooperative learning is a method used to share ideas and communicate to each other and to the world effectively.
Teachers progress monitor students frequently to make sure they are on track and moving toward mastery of high-level standards.
Character education is important to us as we learn and work together in a safe and cooperative environment where everyone is treated respectfully. We value the whole student, academically, emotionally, socially and physically.
We offer a technology course all year long to help each student utilize the most current tools available to communicate and receive information about our world. We also offer semester courses of library science, art, physical education, and music.
Students can be bussed to our school from either Columbus City or Southwestern districts. We offer free breakfast and lunch for ALL students. Kindergarteners attend school for a full day.
Tuition is FREE!
Please call or come visit us for a tour and more information.
Congratulations Mrs. Brown
for being Imagine Harrisburg Pike's
Teacher of the Year
We are working together to raise money (and practice our math skills) for a great cause!
We're hosting this fundraising event to raise money to help St. Jude find new treatments for cancer and other deadly diseases. Join us to help St. Jude continue its lifesaving mission of finding cures and saving children.
By fundraising or donating to support St. Jude, you can ensure no family ever pays St. Jude for anything. And because St. Jude freely shares their research with the global medical community, every child saved at St. Jude means thousands more saved worldwide.
Thanks for helping us reach our goal for the kids of St. Jude!
